My name is Lamont Harringon and I’m currently a Public Sector Cloud Computing Specialist/Solutions Architect at Microsoft Corporation.

I’ve had the opportunity to design, develop, and implement a variety of enterprise-scale on-premise and cloud-based applications for small and large scale projects for many Fortune 500, Fortune 100, and Fortune 50 companies spanning multiple industries as well as a variety of federal, state, and local government agencies and the DoD, including all branches of the US Military, DISA, nad Joint Commands.  Currently, my responsibilities include engaging CxOs, architects, and technical decision makers regarding  Microsoft’s private and public cloud strategy and vision within Public Sector as well as helping as part of the broader Public Sector team to ensure alignment of the organization’s cloud computing opportunities and initiatives across its respective businesses.  I’ve been deeply involved in architecting cloud-based Microsoft solutions and leading cloud computing intiatives around the Office 365, Windows Azure, and Amazon Web Services platforms as well as serving as a trusted advisor as it relates to cloud adoption amongst small, medium, and large organizations.

I’ve been blessed with the opportunity of working on, and delivering, very high profile projects within the Public Sector and Commercial industries and have a number of published case studies on Microsoft’s website.

Aside from technology, my love of God and family stands above all else.  I’ve been abundantly blessed and have achieved quite a few things within my career and I owe it all to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to the tireless support of my family.
